For what purpose do we process your personal data?

We process the information provided by interested parties to manage contact requests sent through the website form. Personal data that forms part of our database is processed to manage our services and products. As well as managing electronic communications related to the services and products offered by SPEC.

How long will we keep your data?

Personal data provided through the contact form will be kept until the query is answered and, at most, six (6) months from the date of receiving the query. Personal data that forms part of our database and has a contractual relationship will be kept for a maximum of ten (10) years from the last issued invoice. Personal data provided when subscribing to electronic communications for SPEC’s services and products will be kept until consent is revoked. You can revoke consent at any time.

What is the legitimacy for processing your data?

The legal basis for processing your data is the request for information from the interested party through the contact form, an existing contractual relationship, or the subscription to electronic communications for SPEC’s services and products.

To which recipients will your data be communicated?

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties, except as required by law.

What are your rights when you provide us with your data?

Anyone has the right to obtain confirmation from SPEC as to whether or not personal data concerning them is being processed. Interested parties have the right to access their personal data and to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request their deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. In certain circumstances, interested parties may request the limitation of the processing of their data, in which case we will only keep it for the exercise or defense of claims. Likewise, in certain circumstances and for reasons related to their particular situation, interested parties may object to the processing of their data. SPEC, S.A. will stop processing the data, except for compelling legitimate reasons, or the exercise or defense against possible claims. SPEC, S.A. informs you that you may exercise the rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, and limitation of processing under the conditions and limits provided by current legislation, by writing to SPEC, S.A., Calle Caballero, 81-83, 08014 (Barcelona), or by email to protecciondatos@grupospec.com. In any case, you must provide a copy of your ID, passport, or equivalent document. If you deem it appropriate, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

How have we obtained your data?

The personal data processed by SPEC comes from requests made by interested parties. The categories of data processed are:

Rights of the interested parties

1. Right of access: Right to obtain confirmation from the data controller as to whether or not personal data concerning them is being processed and, in that case, the right to access their personal data. As well as:
a. The purposes of the processing;
b. The categories of personal data concerned;
c. The recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data has been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients in third countries or international organizations;
d. If possible, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored, or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that period;
e. The existence of the right to request from the controller the rectification or erasure of personal data or the restriction of processing of personal data concerning the data subject, or to object to such processing;
f. The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;
g. Where the personal data is not collected from the data subject, any available information as to its source;
h. The existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, the logic involved, as well as the significance and the envisaged consequences of such processing.

2. Right of rectification: Right to obtain from the data controller the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning them. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, the data subject has the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement.

3. Right of erasure: Right to obtain from the data controller the erasure of personal data concerning them, who shall be obliged to erase personal data without undue delay where one of the following grounds applies: a. The personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed; b. The data subject withdraws consent on which the processing is based; c. The data subject objects to the processing; d. The personal data has been unlawfully processed; e. The personal data must be erased for compliance with a legal obligation in Union or Member State law to which the data controller is subject; f. The personal data has been collected in relation to the offer of information society services referred to in Article 8(1) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). However, a number of exceptions are regulated in which this right will not apply. For example, when the right to freedom of expression and information must prevail.

4. Right to Object: The right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning the individual. The data controller will cease processing the personal data unless they can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

5. Right to Restriction of Processing: The right to obtain from the data controller the limitation of data processing when one of the following conditions is met:
a. The data subject contests the accuracy of the personal data, for a period enabling the controller to verify the accuracy of the data;
b. The processing is unlawful, and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests instead the limitation of its use;
c. The controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but the data subject requires them for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims; and
d. The data subject has objected to the processing while it is being verified whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the data subject.
